Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the vessel accounts department.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with maritime financial regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for vessel accounts.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to the management team.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage and develop the vessel accounts team.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manager Vessel Accounts or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A professional certification such as CA or CPA is a plus.
