A Human Resources Executive with Conrad Hotels & Resorts is responsible for managing HR administration responsibilities and assist in recruitment activities to deliver an excellent staff experience while supporting employee relations and departmental goals.
What will I be doing?
As the Human Resources Executive, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- To assist in conducting interviews for Trainees and Rank & File candidates
- Make the necessary arrangements for subsequent interviews with the respective Department/Division Heads and the General Manager for short-listing candidates before the offer of employment
- Manage HR administration such as contracts, letters and personnel files
- Ensure accurate information is fed into the HR system
- Assist with employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability
- Handle applications, renewals and cancellations of work passes for foreign team members.
- Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that it is compliance with the Employment Law
- Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines
- Assist to resolve team member and management queries
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times and to conduct personal behavior in a mature professional business manner when representing the Hotel or brand.
- To be a sound analyzer and problem solver.
- To be a “do-er”, implementer, and action taker.
- Develop and use good business acumen and be a good “business operator”.
- Possess high level of accuracy and have an eye for detail, vigilantly attentive to detail, monitor quality and be obsessively service oriented.
- The ability to be versatile, flexible, show stress management, manage criticism and manage conflict effectively.
- Be a team player and have interpersonal sensitivity.
- Be a public ambassador for Conrad Singapore Orchard as well as Hilton Hotels & Resorts
- Respond properly in any Hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Hotel management and staff.
- Provide feedback in a timely, professional and constructive manner.
- Ready to support any operational crunch within the Hotel, off-site events or Hotel run events.
- Ready to support community initiatives by the Hotel as our contribution to society.
