RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To plan, prepare and deploy manpower accordingly to assigned projects
2. Read and understand of International Standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASME sec IX, ASME V, AWS D1.1
3. Read, understand project related ITP, procedures, specification requirements
4. Review documents and ship construction / repair drawings as per specification and class requirements
5. Knowledge / experience in interpreting Structural /Hull Fabrication Drawings
6. Closely follow up with Fit -Up inspection and welding inspection, visual inspection with clients.
7. Monitor and prepare daily work done reports and steel weight calculations on daily basis.
8. Preparing inspection and final work completion reports
9. Able to estimate the scope of works (Cost and Manhours)
10. Monitor and witness NDT, which includes UT,MT,PT and random RT film interpretation with clients
11. Other adhoc duties assigned by Department Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
With experience in Marine Operation and Shipyard environment
At least 5 years of experience
Proficient in PC applications such as MS Word, MS Excel (calculations, vloop)
Able to work overtime and weekends
