The Supply Chain Production Coordinator is a member of the LVMH Fragrances & Cosmetics Singapore Production Team. She/He is responsible for all communications and coordination with a prominent strategic Korean supplier and Chinese suppliers for a major product line. She/He is the owner of components sourcing and planning, production orders planning and exchange, and completing the goods flow with the dispatch of finished goods to customers and/or partners located worldwide.
Internally, the Supply Chain Production Coordinator works closely with purchasing, packaging development, Brand production units, demand management, shipping, and quality teams to consolidate information, coordinate and align actions, challenge the different parties, and raise alerts whenever necessary.
She/He reports to the Production Manager and Assistant Manager.
Key responsibilities:
1. Marketing Offers and Production Strategy
- Main receiver of information from HQ sharing about the new projects and products.
- In close relation with HQ packaging development teams and collaborates with Singapore regional demand management team on the production strategy to be deployed to meet commercial targets from markets.
- Supervises and tracks item processes in systems such as item code creation, bill of materials, item status and parameters, pricing, etc.
2. Components
- Place orders for components to suppliers considering the different aspects of replenishment, receiving, consumption and stock.
- Closely coordinate with the Singapore shipping team, HQ Customer Service, and suppliers on the ordering and shipment of components to the production facilities in Korea, Singapore, or other countries.
3. Supplier Production Plans
- Build in collaboration with the supplier production plans and follow their accurate execution.
- Communicate the shipping plans for components and finished goods to the supplier and follow execution.
- Ensure production and shipping plans are timely and accurately reflected in systems for holistic visibility and tracking.
4. Singapore Assembly Plans
- Participate, collaborate, and arbitrate the assembly activities with the Singapore production and distribution planning teams.
- Manage the assembly work orders with the Singapore production team from a full-service perspective including service level, stock level and transportation.
5. Service and Stock
- Follow the execution of the overall process and raise alerts when delays or issues are identified.
- Proposes initiatives to improve collaboration with the supplier and whole subcontracting processes in general.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Relevant work experience in the Supply Chain areas of Production Planning, Demand Planning or Distribution Planning.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different departments and countries.
- Excellent organization skills with a proactive mindset, and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Language: Fluent in English (written, spoken); Korean, Chinese, and French (written, spoken) are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
