A chemical MNC with friendly work culture has a new opeing for a Laboratory Technician to join their sensory team focusing in Personal Care products.
- Assist in smooth sensory lab/skin care lab operations and EEG work.
- Assist sample preparation of test materials.
- Maintenance of descriptive references for sensory test samples.
- Peform data analysis and reporting writing base from data using basic statistical tools to analyze panel performance
- Create graphs/charts to visualize panel performance results.
- Solve routine problems in relation to the research project, e.g. methodological/technical problem
- Apply scientific research and critical thinking skills to prepare, set-up, conduct and record the outcome of experiments and field work.
- Create sensory test using a sensory software
- Facilitate and ensure smooth conduct of routine sensory evaluation sessions
- Formulate skin care prototypes using company's ingredients in Personal Care lab to support R&D work for sensory.
Requirement:
- Diploma in Perfumery and Cosmetic Science, or Diploma in Food Technology
- Tenacious with good planning and problem solving skills.
- No experience required for the role as training will be provided
- Comfortable working with numbers and data with some experience in analyzing data and working on statistics report.
