Responsibilities:
- Generate of Certificate of Analysis
- Perform lab blends as well as check and approve Job Slips
- Advise on processing of ageing stocks, returned stocks,flushing oil & develop approach on the process
- Test methods validation, management and training of the practices
- Investigate defects and recommend corrective actions
- Support on technical queries and respond to quality issues and troubleshooting faced by customer.
- Support toll-blending on new formulation updates from customers
- Support formulation and conduct tests, investigate and provide explanation if test not within the specs
- Support early stage technical discussions with potential customers
- Maintain and update PDS, MSDS database
- Maintain QMS/Quality manual accordance to ISO requirements
- Monitor and place order for lab consumables
- Maintain all lab equipment in good order
- Plan schedule for Chemical Engineers / Lab Tech to support operations
- Conduct performance appraisal for Chemical Engineers/Lab Techs
Requirements:
- Degree or above in science /engineering.
- Min 3 years of related work experience with supervisory role.
- Preferably knowledge in LIMS, Statical Tools software
- Experience in lubricant/grease laboratory will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in ISO17025 audit experience will be an advantage.
- Good planning, organizing, communication and interpersonal skills.
