Strategic Sourcing Manager

• Analyze & watch Sourcing Asian market capacities and opportunities in Food and SES


• Liaise and build strong network with Global and regional Supply Management teams to identify requirements and Asian sourcing opportunities as per their categories’ guidelines


• Roll out (and/or manage in coordination with Regional and/or Global based teams) sourcing tenders, negotiations and benchmarks


• Act as the supplier liaison for future Global Tenders involving suppliers based in APAC Region


• Coordinate and Contribute to the Sodexo Better Tomorrow Plan In APAC (Supply Management Responsible Sourcing Plan)

- Contribute to the definition of Responsible Sourcing Regional Objectives

- Coordinate and follow up with Countries on their progress and report

- Look for initiatives, suppliers, partners or NGOs to support the achievement of the Responsible Sourcing Goals


Profile / experience, competencies and skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

• Significant experience in Asian Sourcing (Food, Near Food, Consumables), end-to-end supply chain process

• International exposure and ability to work in a multicultural environment

• Ability to work on complex procurement problems and provide innovative solutions

• Knowledge on quality assurance, CSR, logistic (shipment, customs..)

• Effective leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to drive cross-functional project teams in a matrix organization

• Good negotiation skills as well as sales, verbal and written communication, presentation and networking skills

• Strategic vision and tactical capabilities

• Good financial data management and analytical skills (TCO, cost breakdown benchmark), problem solving and reporting

• Continuous improvement mind set and methodology

• Fluency in English. An additional Asian language would be an advantage.


• Coordinate Regional savings Initiatives

- Coordinate with Global/Regional Operation Account directors and Supply Management country teams on Regional savings initiatives,


· Support To Global Uniforms Category

- Support the Local SM teams by raising the uniforms/shoes orders (4M USD annually) and manage the supply from production to delivery to destination


- Liaise with the global factories to book the production capacity, manage the raw material stock and prioritize the garment shipments


- Closely work with the regional/local distributors to estimate the needs and forecast

- Be involved in Global projects to optimize the supply chain generating savings and reducing lead-time


· Eventually and when necessary, connect with Global and Regional logistic teams to ensure optimum route to supply

- Manage and / or track customs and logistics processes

- Container maximization

- Shipping contracts

- Interact with Importers / Distributors

· Eventually Liaise with Global / Regional Quality Managers

- Ensure factories Corporate Social Responsibility compliance

- Technical and Ethical audits

· Liaise with the Group Finance and Legal Management teams:

- Participate in the calendar year reconciliation process

- Participate to quarterly Suppliers/Regions volume reports (forecasts update)

- Follow up contract terms & conditions

- Collaborate with Finance Analyst
