- Develop programme ideas that pushes new boundaries to address the future of learning.
- Develop and grow institutional knowledge and understanding in Education.
- Develop and advise on strategies, frameworks, initiatives, and road maps related to Education aligned with the company's charter and goals, while contribute to the continued development of the team’s strategic vision, in close partnership with the team leadership.
- Develop a pipeline of programmes that contribute to company's strategy for Education, aligned to the foundation’s charter and goals by:
- Identifying opportunities and gaps in the Education landscape.
- Co-creating solutions and co-designing programmes with partners such as Global organisations (e.g. UNESCO, UNICEF), Governments, Education Institutions and Civil Society Organisations to capture opportunities and meet said gaps, while complementing existing efforts.
- Managing the grants through close collaboration with partners to ensure funded programmes are on track, and achieve their intended impact through monitoring and evaluation.
Requirement
- Relevant experience working in education, education technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and data science is essential. Work in International or Philanthropic Organisations is useful, but not essential.
- Experience in the learning science of social-emotional functioning and learning is useful.
- Ability to use modern methods from neuroscience, artificial intelligence (AI) and data science to influence better learning outcomes.
- Ability to understand cognition for pedagogy and andragogy will be useful.
- Curate learning systems using artificial intelligence/ machine learning as a vehicle to address opportunities, identify gaps and seek solutions for learning across all ages.
- Extensive knowledge of education landscapes, policies, pedagogies, and practices, both regionally and globally. Preferably with direct experience in designing, implementing, and integrating education innovations (eg Web 3, GPT-4 etc) for scale.
