Regional Sales Engineering - Compressor Solutions

Responsibilities :

  • Drive Full Life Cycle Solution business for IRM Businesses in the region to increase sales, revenues, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement localized solutions focused on engineering optimization, cost reduction, and shorter lead times.
  • Lead the development-to-implementation of new, competitive solutions for Aftermarket and New Units sales.
  • Collaborate with interdepartment, partners, and suppliers to enhance solutions and boost regional sales.
  • Provide comprehensive sales support, including quotation preparation, technical specifications, and order submissions.
  • Handle equipment sizing, customer specifications, and queries for sales support.
  • Prepare engineering documents, tender proposals, and manage submissions.
  • Manage sourcing, specifying buyout items, engaging in discussions, and expanding the supply chain.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure quality assurance for supplied goods.
  • Strengthen customer connectivity and engagement.
  • Lead, educate, and mentor team members, distributors, and partners.
  • Support the development and training of business partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales and service team to resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Undertake assigned duties from the General Manager.

Requirements :

  • A degree in an engineering-related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in handling Turbo Compressor solutions engineering and application engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for managing centrifugal/screw/reciprocating turbo compressor business in the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication within the turbo compressor domain.
  • Exceptional skills in building rapport and negotiating effectively, particularly within turbo compressor projects.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in the context of turbo compressor solutions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Asia-Pacific Region, particularly in ASEAN countries, with a strong emphasis on turbo compressors (travel frequency: 40% and above).
