Reporting to the Construction Manager, The Engineer has the following responsibilities:
1. To assist the Construction Manager in project planning, programming, and monitoring works on site.
2. To assist the Construction Manager in managing and implementing the quality, environmental, health and safety (QEHS) management systems of Pikasa on site.
3. To monitor and co-ordinate with the Clerk-of-works for inspections of the works.
4. To analyse custumer complaints and provide remedial actions.
5. To follow up on non-complying works and materials for corrective and preventive actions from sub-contractors and suppliers.
6. To assist the Construction Manager to ensure compliance to the management system procedures.
7. To participate in Project Review Meeting.
8. To assist the Construction Manager in the preparation of the Master Construction Programme.
9. To assist the Construction Manager in monitoring progress of works and update the Master Construction Programme.
10. To assist the Construction Manager in preparation of monthly progress reports.
11. Supervision in constructing on site works.
12. Any other duties as assigned by Top Management.
Job Requirement
- Must possess Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- To possess relevant certificates and/or Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course Certificate is an advantage
- At least 3 years or working experience in the related field.
- Good communication, self-initiative and interpersonal skill.
