You will report to the RVP, APJ Renewal Sales and play a strategic role by leading the SMB Account Manager team in support of our APJ business. You will be in charge of guiding, supporting, and coaching the Account Managers, collaborating with them, and providing them the necessary tools to succeed in their goals.
What You Will Do…
- Create, own, and lead the SMB coverage model in collaboration with our teams
- Create, lead, motivate and train the SMB Account Managers
- Negotiate and execute renewal contracts that align to customer and company goals
- Drive expansion opportunities at time of renewal
- Assess and report an accurate forecast for responsible customer portfolio
- Identify and tackle areas for innovation and improvement based on data and process insights
- Participate in the weekly forecast team meetings
- Provide support and supervision on elaborating quarterly and annual sales results
- Ensure outstanding sales results and comply 100% with finance and legal policies
- Build an open-communication environment for the team
- Plan and execute along with the team innovative campaigns and demand generation activities that help them build more pipeline in renewals, technological upgrades and cross selling
- Propose new ideas for better tools, process and new methodologies to be implemented in the team
- Goal setting & performance and talent management for the SMB team
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Finance or related field
- 10+ years of /Sales/Customer Success experience, ideally managing salesteam supporting various sizes of accounts.
- 5+ years of working in SaaS-based businesses
- 5+ years managing sales professionals. Management in SMB segment is a plus.
- SFDC (Salesforce) CRM experience needed
- Passion for making customers successful
- Proven and consistent track record of achieving personal and team goals
- History of building and scaling renewals processes and teams and making them successful
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Top notch analytical, project management, and collaborative skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player attitude with an open mind
- Excellent English communications and Japanese language skills is a plus.
