Finance Manager (General Ledger and Reporting)
The Finance Manager is a professional role providing a range of financial support to the growth and effective management of the Company and its business. He is responsible for the monthly closing of the book, financial analysis and reporting functions, monthly forecast and annual budgeting exercise and any ad hoc assignment. The role requires someone with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, good attention to details with consistent accuracy, and quality financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
Closing & Reporting - To perform the month-end and year-end closing & reporting to management and Group Finance on timely basis;
Analysis of Performance – To provide timely, accurate, reliable clear and concise historical and forward-looking analysis on business performance;
Annual Budgeting Exercise – To be involved in the annual budgeting exercise;
Cash Management – To monitor and plan for the fund management for business operation;
Taxation – To compute/ review the quarterly/ annual income tax computation and the quarterly GST submission to IRAS;
Audit – To facilitate and work with internal and external auditors;
Review and monitor the work process and internal controls
Other ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:·
Minimum Bachelor Accountancy Degree and/ or certified CPAwith 9 to 10 years of relevant experience in MNC/ Big 4 preferred;·
At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting with supervision;·
Knowledge and experience in using SAP Accounting System and Oracle Budgeting System would be an advantage;·
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words and Power Point);·
Ability to lead and supervise a team;·
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;·
Independent self-starter who is meticulous and resourceful;·
Ability to write precisely and concisely;·
Ability to influence and work in a support role;·
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines;·
Diligent and committed;·
