Our client is a global engineering company headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. They are looking for a Safety officer (Contract) with Oil and Gas project experience for their client’s project in the KSA (Saudi Arabia).

Responsibilities
· Lead site risk assessment for current and new activities.
· Attending to incidents and occupational injuries cases on site.
· Key Safety Requirement (KSR) Audit weekly assignment, monitoring and support.
· Ensure basic Fire Fighting training and first aid training completion. requirements.
· Daily Action Tracking System monitoring and support.
· Preparing emergency response plans.
· Managing preparation and training of emergency drills, prepare records.
· Organize and maintain necessary project safety documentation.
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a Safety Officer or in a related field
· Possess relevant professional certifications
· Sound knowledge of safety regulations and standards
· Ability to conduct safety inspections and develop safety programs
· Excellent communication and training skills
· Bachelor’s degree
· Minimum 9 years of experience in the O& G industry
· Beside English, MANDARIN/ CHINESE speaking skills are crucial requirement as the role needs to communicate with the Chinese stakeholders, clients, staffs around the world
· Ready to relocate in Saudi Arabia for this contract role (Mar 2024- Nov 2025).
