Tecson Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our rail engineering projects. This position involves working during standard engineering hours and occasionally participating in shift work.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Testing Activities: Perform comprehensive testing of rail engineering systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
2. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to identify and rectify defects, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable solutions.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the engineering projects.
4. Documentation: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and reports to communicate testing status and results to stakeholders.
5. Troubleshooting: Investigate and analyze issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to maintain project timelines.
6. Ad Hoc Works: Undertake ad hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to unforeseen challenges or additional project needs.
7. Certification Compliance: Ensure that all testing activities align with relevant industry certifications and standards.
8. Shift Work: Be available for shift work as required to support project schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Testing Engineer in a relevant industry.
3. Professional certifications in testing methodologies or relevant technologies are highly desirable.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate testing outcomes to stakeholders.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
