Job Purpose
This position will look after Transaction Banking Cash Product mainly for internet banking, including payments, FX booking and production support.
This role involves daily cooperation with Tokyo Head Office and system analysts in Japan.
Responsibility of this position also include to leading the team to support these things and educate junior staffs to be able to support independently.
Job Responsibilities
This is a regional cash product development role with the following responsibilities and expected experience:
- To implement solutions for corporate internet banking channel, including regulatory compliance, payments and collection capabilities, strategic initiatives to improve customer experience across all APAC countries.
- To manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities
- To handle internet banking projects, including regulatory projects in APAC will be required.
- To roll out the implementation of real time FX rate booking solution to APAC branches, including integration between internet banking and Treasury FX systems. Domain knowledge of FX rates, execution and workflows, including technical interfaces such as XML, API/SOAP, HULFT will be required.
- To support product positioning and customer demand and guide product development.
- To provide day-to-day production support which includes answering user queries, monitoring applications, reviewing and planning of system changes and server upgrades.
- To provide support system release on weekends, including user testing and production verification test.
- To evaluate product functionalities and performance and propose enhancement to products based on market/customer feedback
- To work closely with Tokyo Head Office including daily discussion with system analysts and product managers in Japan
- To lead in resolving issues across departments and to mentor the junior team members
Job Requirement
- University graduate with degree related to IT/Computer Science or Business or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in cash management or transaction banking, including regulatory projects and FX booking system.
- Strong working knowledge of technical interfaces such as XML, API/SOAP, HULFT
- Experience with working in Japanese bank and Host-to-Host solution will be advantageous
- Proficient in Japanese (spoken and written) is advantages as the role requires for daily communication with stakeholders in Japan and discussion will be conducted in Japanese
- Well versed in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, etc.
