Our client is a powerhouse leader in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), with a strong global presence. They are expanding their capabilities to recruit for a Group Head of Communications and Marketing to manage and strategize on communications, branding, public relations and marketing efforts. This person will be working closely with group level c-suite executives to advise on marketing and communication.

Reporting to the Group COO, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive communication and marketing strategies that align with the company's global objectives and enhance its market position.
  • Leading a high-performing team to execute impactful public relations, corporate communications, and marketing campaigns.
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, media, and industry partners.
  • Overseeing the creation and distribution of compelling content across various platforms to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform communication and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between communication/marketing efforts and business goals.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to the executive team on the performance and impact of communication and marketing initiatives.

  • Proven experience in leading communication and marketing functions within a global context, preferably in the real estate or financial industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement effective communication and marketing strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience in crisis communication and issues management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • A global perspective and understanding of diverse markets.
