LOGISTIC|SHIPPING COORDINATOR (RENEWABLE CONTRACT JOB IN JAPAN)


Our client is a global engineering company headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. They are looking for a Logistic Coordinator (Contract) with Oil and Gas project experience for their client’s project in the KSA (Saudi Arabia).

Responsibilities


· Prepare, manage and monitor shipments of oil and gas products.

· Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.

· Analyze logistics needs, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

· Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.

· Negotiate transportation rates and services with carriers.

· Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials.

· Work closely with internal departments to understand their specific requirements for oil and gas product shipments.

· Track and trace shipments, adjust routes as needed and resolve any problems that arise during transit.

· Monitor and maintain accurate records for all shipments and provide regular updates to management.

· Develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize transportation costs.


Qualifications


· Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Logistics or supply chain management related working experience in Nuclear Power Plant, O&G, Marine industries.

· Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the O& G industries

· Relevant certifications such as Certified Logistics Coordinator (CLC) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).

· Knowledge of oil and gas industry regulations and standards

· Knowledge of logistics management principles and procedures

· Possess good PR skill with vendors and suppliers to manage inventory levels, ensure orders are delivered on time, negotiate contracts, plan shipments, and troubleshoot any issues that arise with logistics operations.

· Have a thorough knowledge of the industry and to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements.

· Knowledge of import/export regulations and paperwork

· Knowledge of shipping and customs regulations

· Must have the ability to coordinate the movement of materials and personnel in an efficient manner, while adhering to safety regulations and ensuring that all documents are in order.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in Softwares, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),

· Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), TMS, SCM, etc.

· Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

· Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

· A high level of organization and communication skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

· Good problem-solving and decision-making skills are also essential in this role, as Logistics Coordinators must be able to quickly identify and resolve any logistical issues that arise.

· Skill to interpret transportation laws and regulations

· Strong negotiation skills

· Have a strong sense of responsibility.

· Ready to relocate in Japan for this contract role.
