Our client is a leading ship owner looking to recruit an Oil/Chemical tanker operator in their growing offices in Singapore.
Responsibilities
• Ensure cargo transportation as per contact with efficient turnaround of vessel
• Efficient stowage plan to optimize tank utilization, compliance with regulations and procedures for vessel’s safe operation, compliance with statutory regulations, and coordination with chartering
• Prepare monthly, yearly, and any other periodical result when required
• Coordinate voyage planning
• Prepare and forward voyage instructions to the vessel
• Appoint an agent and coordinate to ensure a smooth turnaround
• Arrange and Instruct cargo release
• Ensure sufficient bunker on board
• Input operational data in C/B
• Monitor vessel performance and feedback to superiors
• Maintain close relationships with Charterers and Brokers
• Coordinate with the vessel master/manager in the event of a marine incident
• Report and coordinate claims but not limited to cargo shortage/contamination
• Conduct vessel visit to improve rapport with officer/crew and feedback observation on board
Requirements
· Minimum Diploma in Maritime courses, but the degree is preferred
·3+ years experience in shipping, ship management, or tanker industry
· Location: Central
