Job Description
- Grow the sales of the global business in line with the strategic growth plan of the business working to budget targets
- Manage key accounts in designated geographical regions
- Identify and develop new opportunities to expand the services offered by the company
- Prepare quotations and tenders for new business opportunities.
- Develop working relationships with decision makers for all managed accounts and potential accounts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's service offerings as well as external market trends
- Manage and maintain a pipeline; ensuring all sales information is current
- Gain a greater understanding of our customers’ business activities and the demands, constraints and factors affecting their business and markets
- Gain information on competitive activity and market factors which could affect the company's overall business
- Attend industry relevant conferences and exhibitions
- Assist with marketing activities
- Maintenance of I-Connect CRM database
- Liaise with local service providers when required to ensure high standards of service delivery are maintained
- Min Degree
- At least 5 years of BD/sales experience in Oil & Gas, Bunker fuels or selling to shipowners/ship managers
- Proven track record in building business/growing sales
- Excellent verbal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external customer’s
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of Petroleum Products and their properties
- Knowledge of Marine Industry operations and relevant legislation
- Knowledge of all competitive testing companies
