Responsibilities:
- Capable of devising Test Strategies and generating Master/Acceptance Test Plans (ATP) and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPr)
- Ability to lead software testers to execute test strategies and ATP/ATPr.
- Writing, executing, and overseeing tests on software usability, functionality, performance, load testing, and system reliability.
- Analyzing test results to identify impacts, errors, bugs, and reliability issues.
- Logging testing results and collaborating with developers to analyze errors/bugs, performance issues, and other unintended behavior.
- Interacting with clients to understand requirements, feedback, and issues, and ensuring they are addressed effectively.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior testers, fostering a collaborative and efficient testing environment.
- Developing and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, test scripts (ATPr), and test reports (ATR).
- Implementing and managing automated testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participating in project planning and requirement analysis to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Continuously improving testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance overall software quality.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proficiency in VMs with both Windows and Linux.
- Strong understanding of software test design principles and testing methodologies.
- Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Ability to think creatively and analytically to develop comprehensive test strategies and scenarios.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing concepts preferred.
- Proven track record of leading successful testing efforts for complex software projects.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high performance and quality standards.
