You will perform General Radiography and/or Specialised Imaging independently at a high level in A&E, Inpatient and Outpatient settings. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be expected to lead a small team, Section or Service that is aligned with the Departmental needs. You will be involved in the planning activities leading to the opening of Woodlands Health Campus to support the delivery of imaging services to our patients within and outside of Diagnostic Radiology.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform and manage specialised imaging examinations/procedures in various settings such as Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department etc.
- Plan and coach junior radiographers in the provision of Radiographic service and quality patient care
- Recommend improvements, plan and execute the provision of a Radiographic service that allows our team to work in a safe and effective environment
- Be a valued leader of the Department by value-adding to the planning of our Department’s operations, in alignment to our Mission and Vision
- Opportunities for development in various roles pertaining to setup of new services, Work Improvement/Research, Clinical Training and Education and Team coaching
Job requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging Science from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council and holds a valid R1 License
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Perform rotating shift duties
