- Assess, based on the scheme’s eligibility criteria, whether the applicant is eligible for childcare financial assistance; and if so, to recommend the amount and duration of assistance for the child;
- Navigate through different systems to process online applications received;
- Manage appeals from applicants who do not qualify for the assistance, and attend to queries about the scheme from parents and members of the public, childcare centre operators, social workers and other relevant parties;
- Work closely with childcare operators, social workers, or colleagues in the course of work; and
- Provide administrative support to the team, such as triaging the emails and MP appeals.
Requirements:
- Singaporean
- Degree holder
- Familiar with and able to use IT systems and processes confidently;
- Has good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with clients, child care centre operators, parents and relevant parties
