Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysing business requirements and working with both business and technical team to administer the application lifecycle includes migration, analyses, design, implement and supporting assigned application(s).
- Requires a strong understanding of software development processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Provide regional support for deployed software solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure that request logged with ticketing tool is resolved in a timely manner.
- Migrate legacy application to new technology with global team alignment. (Documentum, Lotus notes app, Sharepoint & etc.)
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Work with independently to design, develop, and implement software automation solutions. E.g. Power Automate.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, functional specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure software solutions meet business requirements.
- Participate in project planning and provide input on timelines, resources, and risks.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software development.
- Provide onsite and regional (India) helpdesk support (20%).
Requirements
- Minimally a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Software Development.
- Certification in one or more domain preferred: Project Management, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft M365 Suite.
- Strong understanding and proficiency in MS Sharepoint, Teams, PowerAutomate & PowerApps.
- Experience in Document Management System, preferably in Documentum.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a plus.
