QA Lead Responsibility
- Provide functional workflows, test data, and support to black box, automation, VA and PT.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca.
- Expertise in writing test scenarios and test cases.
- Effectively collaborate, communicate and build rapport with team members, project stakeholders, business partners, and vendors
- Support UAT, including obtaining official sign-off approval on releases ready for UAT and production
- Champion agility and improvement in the test process
- Facilitate complex group meetings and conduct information-gathering sessions with groups across IT offshore teams
- Own QA automation frameworks.
- Test new developments on all platforms.
- Work closely with the CX & UX team to make sure the code meets defined product requirements
- Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of their work
- Creating test plans and strategies
- Identifying and documenting defects
- Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count)
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
- Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior QA engineers.
QA Lead Requirements & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Center)
