Responsibilities:
The Order Fulfilment Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Central Kitchen’s day-to-day fulfilment operations, including the execution of daily order packing & fulfilment processes, the upkeep of hygiene and pest control standards, and monitoring on-site facilities and equipment. He/she is responsible for ensuring adherence to established SOPs for daily operations, safety, quality & hygiene standards, driving operational improvements, monitoring production wastage, and confirming that work-shift discipline is adhered to by all operational staff. He/she is the first port-of-call for any equipment failure and will oversee the timely escalation of any faulty equipment for repair. The Order Fulfilment Supervisor also manages the upkeep of all operational resources, ensuring they are updated on an on-going basis for daily operations and training purposes.
The Order Fulfilment Supervisor reports to the Production Manager.
Order Fulfilment Operations
- Oversee the execution of daily operational workflows working together with the scheduled part-time & full-time Order Fulfilment Team Members to collectively complete all assigned tasks throughout the day, making proposals as needed to enhance process & workflows for efficiency.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving daily order fulfilment related issues.
- Supervise the performance of all part-time & full-time Order Fulfilment Team Members, ensuring they perform all key & sub order fulfilment tasks including, but not limited to, picking, packing, sorting of Storerun, requisition, and advance orders, ensuring tasks are performance in accordance with operational guidelines and with minimal to zero error.
- Responsible for actively overseeing and providing feedback on performance of part-time & full-time Order Fulfilment Team Members to the Production Manager.
- Oversee the daily order dispatch process, ensuring that all orders are dispatched correctly and on time, coordinating with the logistics team as necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining and minimising third party logistics costs arising due to order fulfilment.
- Responsible for ensuring the Order Fulfilment team meets customer service expectations in line with PV’s brand experience guidelines, actively reducing customer complaints and customer service recovery issues.
- Responsible for inventory checks and ensuring sufficiency of essential packing materials, coordinating with the office for replenishment as needed.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all operational resources (including any SOPs and guideline documents), ensuring it adheres to the approved format, correctly reflects current protocol and is accessible to the staff.
PV Foods Production
- Manage and oversee the packing process for all PV Foods inventory to achieve inventory quantities determined by Management in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for ensuring that all packed PV Foods consistently meet the packaging requirements and standards as determined by Management.
- Manage proper storage of all PV Foods inventory.
Food Safety & Hygiene
- Supervise the stewarding staff and oversee hygiene standards through conducting hygiene inspections, fulfilling the requirements of the daily checklist and reporting any lapses of hygiene standards to the Production Manager.
- Oversee the active management, identification and disposal of the expired goods at the Central Kitchen.
- Ensure that all operational staff adhere to the company policies, including safety, hygiene and operational guidelines.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree with 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities and exemplary integrity and work ethic.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, able to multitask and work under pressure.
- Computer literate with moderate proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
