Duties and responsibilities included:
- Perform month-end closing and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and reconcile general ledger.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecast.
- Liaise with external auditors on annual audit including year IFRS reporting package.
- Liaise with tax agent on yearly tax submission and draft tax computation.
- Preparation of GST return
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
- Preparation budget and forecast.
- Assist Finance Manager to collaborate with the rest of the finance team to ensure that the company’s accounting records are in good order.
- Handle accounts receivable to ensure timely billings and collection from customers.
- Assist Assistant Accountant / Finance Manager in other ad-hoc reports.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Detail, analytical, accurate and good with numbers.
- High level of integrity, initiative, drive, commitment and a sense of urgency.
- Mature, diligent and conscientious in meeting deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
