Assistant Manager/Manager, Strategic Planning (Organisational Development)

Description

You will be part of the Corporate Development team overseeing KSL’s strategic, corporate and organisational needs, including the development of strategic work plans. As part of the process, you will work closely with KSL senior management and departments, funders and other stakeholders across Government and non-Government agencies to forecast and anticipate KSL’s evolving needs.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • To develop an integrated and data-driven strategic plan for KSL, which meets Code of Governance requirements, as well as factors in KSL’s data analysis and Organisational Health Framework for Social Service (OHFSS) findings To present these at relevant KSL Board and Board Committee Meetings, as well as Ministry-led platforms.
  • To study emerging trends in the area of early childhood development, with focus on effectiveness of specific interventions.
  • To collaborate with Early Childhood Development Agency and other KSL Divisions in refining KSL’s service model as appropriate.
  • To coordinate and manage KSL’s records and document repository structures and processes, as well as KSL-wide contracts.

Organisational Development

  • To lead in KSL’s organisational transformation and change management efforts as it ramps up for nationwide expansion.
  • To formulate and drive staff engagement efforts to shape a stronger culture within the organisation.

Competencies

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in organisational development, strategic planning and/or corporate reporting.
  • Proven track record in identifying capability gaps and translating ideas into meaningful organisational outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills. Able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up environment.
  • Attentive to details, a self-starter and effective team player who possesses the ability to work independently and in cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with systems thinking, contract management, procurement, community development approaches, ESG strategy or the early childhood landscape will be an advantage.
