Reporting directly to the Global Services Leader (GSL), the role of Global Services Director demands a strategic and hands-on approach to shaping and optimising NCS’s Global Services operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with the Global Delivery Network, comprising strategic partners such as Microsoft, SAP, and our internal Quality practices, to ensure a unified and efficient global service delivery framework.
- Lead the establishment and optimization of the Global Services framework to meet client needs and organisational objectives.
- Develop and implement service processes, standards, and best practices.
- Leverage advanced analytical tools to interpret operational data, provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Converge and integrate IT technologies that support NCS business. Equip with deep knowledge on existing and emerging technologies so as to advise clients in long-term IT strategic planning.
- Identify and track market trends, emerging technologies, and technology disruptions so as to implement strategies and action plans for new opportunities, competition and threats in the IT industry.
- Accountable for overall direction of complex operations, functions, or projects, which may contain significant scope, ambiguity, risk, and geographical diversity.
- Possesses strong business and industry acumen and uses this knowledge to further refine and develop Global Delivery Network initiative.
- Collaborate with Process & Quality Management teams to achieve global standards and quality benchmarks.
- Provide leadership and direction to the various teams and oversee the development of competencies and career progression of team members. Identify and groom potential successors to key positions.
- Proactively identifying and assessing operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies for seamless operations.
- Manage and maximise the utilisation of GDN resources by working with leaders across Strategic Business Group and to ensure achievement of key financial matrix.
- Close the loop by providing feedback to service offering teams around competitive intelligence and Service innovation.
- Ensuring unwavering compliance with NCS organizational policies and industry regulations, implementing risk management strategies.
The successful candidate should possess:
- Degree in Information Systems or Business Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 to 15 years relevant work experience with expertise and proven experience
- Experience in consulting and project development/management with experience in managing business development opportunities across Asia
- Ability to think critically and strategically, aligning organizational goals with the broader business landscape.
- Strong people management and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to think strategically, identify and understand business needs and translate into strategic plans and solutions.
- Strong customer-service orientation. Works well in multicultural workplace.
