Job Summary
This position will be responsible for providing in-field technical support to our channel partners and customers within the Asia Pacific region, including but not limited to post-sale technical support, instrument break-fix, preventive maintenance and supply of service spares and PM kits to distributors or customers.
Position Duties
· Prompt follow-up and take actions on Service and PM requests
· Coordinate, ensure all required support and services are rendered in a timely manner
· Schedule and perform in-field troubleshooting and repair of instruments, as assigned
· Perform instrument installations, basic operational training to end users
· Conduct and complete instrument acceptance protocol at time of commissioning
· Furnish in-field service reports upon completion of service call
· Ad-hoc assignments, as assigned by management
Education/Experience
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
· A valid driver's license and willingness to travel (up to 30% regionally)
· Holder of IR1 license is preferred
· Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Customer-centric mindset and attitude
· Multitasker
· Fluent in spoken and written English (other Asian languages is a plus)
· >3 years relevant experience in field service or technical support role, in analytical instruments industry
