Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and management of the company's database systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with financial objectives.
- Collaborate with IT, data analysis, and financial teams to integrate database management with business and financial operations.
- Implement and maintain robust database backup and recovery systems, safeguarding data integrity and availability.
- Develop and enforce database policies and procedures to comply with data management standards and financial regulations.
- Lead the optimization and scaling of database systems to meet evolving business and financial needs.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand their data and financial requirements, providing efficient database solutions.
- Monitor database performance, conduct regular audits, and mplement improvements to support financial systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to database management teams, focusing on financial data accuracy and usability.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of trading software, technical indicators, and financial systems to ensure the database supports complex financial operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, highlighting strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to financial data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective management and presentation of database structures and financial data.
- Familiarity with trading software, technical indicators, and a comprehensive understanding of financial systems and their integration with database management.
- Strong team awareness with demonstrated excellence in communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, essential for managing database projects related to finance.
