If successfully selected, candidate will be deployed in local MOE schools.

Contract Period: 11 March 2024 to 10 March 2025.
Options to extend the contract : 11 March 2025 to 10 March 2026.
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break (8.5 working hours)
- Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break (8 working hours)
- Service not required on weekends and gazetted public holidays.
- Personnel may be deployed to commence work earlier or later, on need basis. The working end time will be adjusted accordingly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supports Operations Manager (OM) to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
- Monitors and tracks school’s facilities, and operating system/equipment, to ensure they are in order. He/she will follow-up with the vendors/Term Contractors (TCs) to ensure defects are rectified.
- Conducts daily check on school’s perimeter, building and infrastructure to ensure school safety and put up the fault reporting.
- Works closely with the team of Operations Support Officers (OSOs), TCs, contractors, service providers such as security guards, cleaners, vendors, and contractors etc. For example, he/she will lead the OSOs to set up the venues for school events such as examinations, meetings etc
- Provides administrative support to OM such as tracking of contractors’ work sheets, maintenance, and procurement.
- Liaises and corresponds with the external agencies such as HDB, Town Council, TCs, Managing Agent, and LTA contractors to ensure school has a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
- Any other duties as assigned by OM pertaining to school’s operation and safety
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least 1 year experience in facilities or estate management or similar job scope
- Experience in school environment, or similar, is advantageous but not mandatory
- Some technical skills in Building and Mechanical and Electrical services
- Basic understanding of fire safety or facilities processes
- Good oral and written communication and able to communicate effectively with vendors and different stakeholders
- Proficient in basic Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
- Minimum qualification – GCE ‘O’ level or ITE certificate
