- Managing the Singapore company as a whole and ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Overseeing all projects and the operational infrastructure (including accounting, finance, legal, procurement, logistics, sales, and business development), closely in liaison with the HQ in Japan.
- Monitoring and analyzing financial statements, budgetary, and other indicators of performance, in order to assess the standing and financial position of the company. The role is also expected to do regular reporting including financial reports to the HQ in Japan, a listed company.
- Reviewing and identifying ways to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve cash position for the overall company performance to meet the company’s goals.
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with key accounts, key contacts, and critical personnel at various client organizations.
- Analyzing problematic situations or occurrences and providing solutions to ensure the survival and growth of the company.
- Providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of working experience preferably in the food logistics supply chain management
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Administration/Logistics, or a related field
- Excellent leadership with good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Japanese and English as required during meetings in Japan HQ as well as other subsidiaries
- Independent, resilient, and able to handle high-pressure situations
- Overseas travel will be required.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the company’s performance.
