Responsibilities:
- Greeting Patients: Warmly welcome patients and visitors upon arrival, ensuring a hospitable and comforting environment throughout their visit.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage and maintain the clinic's appointment calendar, scheduling appointments for patients, and handling any rescheduling or cancellation requests with attentiveness and accuracy.
- Patient Registration: Obtain and record patients' demographic and insurance information accurately, verify insurance eligibility, and update the patient database as necessary to ensure thorough documentation.
- Answering Phone Calls: Respond promptly and courteously to phone inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, or insurance companies. Provide accurate information and transfer calls when appropriate, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Billing and Payment Processing: Collect co-payments, deductibles, or other fees from patients, process payments securely, and provide detailed receipts. Assist with billing tasks, including preparing and e-filing for CPF/Medisave Insurance Claims, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Medical Records Management: Ensure the proper maintenance and confidentiality of patients' medical records, updating information as required, and facilitating the secure transfer of records between healthcare providers when necessary.
- Patient Check-Out: Assist patients with the check-out process, schedule follow-up appointments as needed, and provide clear instructions or information pertinent to their visit for a seamless transition.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including efiling, photocopying, and data entry, to uphold the efficient operation of the clinic and support colleagues as needed.
