Job Purpose

Director – ESG Risk, Analytics & Reporting is responsible for driving the growth of Baker Tilly’s ESG risk and reporting business by expanding our market presence and building a team that can deliver the business expectation.

Responsibilities

1. Drive the growth of ESG business in line with the firm’s overall business plan.
2. Able to provide end to end ESG Risk Advisory & Consulting Services in the following areas:

• Implementation of ESG framework and standards
• Integration of ESG strategies with business strategies
• Develop ESG/sustainability roadmap and implementation including net zero, decarbonization, carbon target setting and value chain and circular economy
• Evaluate and integrate ESG considerations into business risk and internal audit framework.
• Development and implementation of sustainable business models including strategic, operational and financial models.
• ESG reporting including use of data analytics solutions and application of accounting and valuation methodologies.

Requirements

1. Minimum 8 years of auditing or consulting experience.
2. Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies and Sustainability, or Accounting.
3. Candidates with certification in Sustainability Standards will be favorably considered.
4. Proven track record of client conversion and delivery
5. Professional and experience in team management
6. Technical competencies in area such as financials, accounting and risk management
7. Knowledgeable in International Sustainability Standards such as SDGs, GRI, SASB, TCFD and emerging reporting requirements
8. Experience in sustainability/ESG work including strategy, reporting and assurance
9. Good working knowledge of global, regional and country-specific climate change strategies and regulations
