RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement cost reduction initiatives through supply chain part transitions
- Project coordination of standard work and managing input/output from multiple business unit disciplines
- Meet internal and external customer requirements
- Understanding supply chain regional & global strategies
- Work with suppliers to establish synergetic relationships
- Identify/mitigate risks
- Drive the process to reduce cost of product while maintaining delivery and quality
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/
- Operations experience in technical/manufacturing position or procurement/purchasing position is desired
- Thorough knowledge of project management and work flow required.
- Previous demonstrated results in Lean manufacturing and applying ACE methodologies also desired
- Experience working in with a North American/European/Asian based supply chain.
- Good organization, data processing and decision making skills
- Able to follow through on tasks with moderate guidance
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
- 50% of traveling is required for this position
