- Managing stakeholders, and proposing improvement and solutions to QA-related issues
- Set KPI and direction for the QA team, and lead the team by guiding and coaching
- Implement and ensuring all quality and food safety control processes are in compliance to company’s standard, ISO and local statutory requirement.
- Conduct in house food safety training to production/operation staffs.
- Manage customer complaints by investigating and performing trouble-shooting
- Drive process improvement program to ensure high standard of food safety and quality
- Provide technical advice to support other department when necessary
- Perform QA audit at central kitchen and outlets, and prepare QA reports.
- Monitoring product integrity and conduct product testing for new and regular products
- To support in supplier management program (audit and ingredient approval)
- Manage external inspection and liaise with regulatory agencies
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Requirement
- Diploma / Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or other Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years work experience in QAQC related field in food industry, preferably from food manufacturing/food service/food retail
- Familiar with food regulatory/retail hygiene requirement is an added advantage
- Good knowledge in GMP/HACCP/ GFSI / HALAL, ISO 22000 and Food Safety is preferable
- Familiarity / experience in internal auditing and microbiological testing method is preferred
- Candidates with experience leading team preferred
