Job Overview
To assist all cooks to provide consistent quality of food and services to internal and external customers, by adhering to all Marriott Standards and Policies and Singapore Marriott Hotel standards of excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work close together with Dim Sum, Chopper 1, Steamer 1, Wok 1Chef’s.
- Help at all times the relevant Chef to prepare all food according to recipe cards and follow the standard of food to reach a standard of excellence.
- To work in a safe manner at all times to eliminate accidents.
- To enforce our policy, “Clean As you go”.
- Daily cleaning of kitchen equipment in work area.
- Daily check and cleaning of walking fridge.
- Daily covering, rotating and dating of all food items.
- Co-operation and team work at all times.
- Perform all other reasonable tasks as requested by Management.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of experience in similar capacity
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multi tasked and committed to the quality of food served
- Excellent working attitude and willing to constantly grow his/her skills
