Principal Accountabilities:
The role has the following areas of responsibility.
- Develop solutions supporting the overall data architecture in line with the target operating model focusing on the following core finance domains:
- Actuarial
- Accounting and Reporting
- Management Information
- Document all solutions in line with company's standards, and obtain signoff for solutions
- Partner with implementation teams to ensure that the agreed architecture is implemented within delivery programs
- Support ongoing development of the overall corporate data architecture, including liaising with key stakeholders (senior management in head office and business units, Group Digital) to ensure acceptance of the architecture
- Support Future Finance program as required
- Ensure that all proposed solutions are fit for purpose and meet all company's governance standards
- Act as a neutral trusted advisor across all business stakeholders
- Support development of a communications plan on all architecture to stakeholders
- Assist in the sizing and implementation initiatives
- Develop deep relationships with key business stakeholders to enable co-creation of target states
Candidate Requirements:
· Proven capability to provide complex solutions across multiple functional domains
· Proven capability to embed work with complex programs
· Excellent knowledge of cloud data technologies, processes and standards, specifically the Azure platform.
· Practical and extensive experience of agile delivery methodologies
· Excellent finance systems knowledge
· Excellent verbal and written communication including ability to create simple visualisations of complex concepts
· Excellent stakeholder management skills
· Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead cross functional teams to deliver
· Knowledge of insurance reporting metrics (EEV, IFRS 17, ICS)
· Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, and proven ability to utilise frameworks to deliver consistent enterprise solutions
· Domain knowledge of actuarial, insurance accounting or Insurance management reporting data
