Job Description
- Casework management to support the children, youth, and caregivers. This may include intake and referral, client engagement, needs and risk assessment, goal setting, intervention planning and regular reviews.
- Maintain good, timely and updated records of all programme activities, such as case notes, reporting writing, attendance registers, and event records.
- Participate in clinical group supervisions that are held online monthly.
- Work in a team to support the smooth running of daily operations during centre’s operating hours, such as regular engagement of children and youth who visit the activity centre.
- Manage engagement with parents and caregivers, including conducting home visits, intake assessments, and regular communication through phone calls and instant messaging.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to provide holistic support to the children and families. This involves leading case conferences with school partners or other social service agencies such as the Family Service Centres or the Social Service Office.
- Conduct group work and support the running of programme activities for the children and youth to support their holistic development.
- Manage programme volunteers through active engagement and coordination.
- Assist in analyzing trends and needs of the community and target clients.
- Support the maintenance of the activity centre through regular cleaning and upkeep of centre space when necessary.
- Any other duties assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Social Work or Counselling or related discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in Social Service Agencies, especially children and youth work will be an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills
- Must have the flexibility to work on Saturday mornings and weekday evenings (as needed)
