Payroll Executive (Finance)

At Singapore Aero Support Services (SASS), we are looking for a meticulous, responsible and efficient Payroll Executive to join our Finance team.


In this role, you will be in charge of the financial aspect of payroll processing – from working with HR to obtain relevant information, cross checking submissions, assisting with computations to ensure accuracy, to bank uploading and disbursement.


Other responsibilities include managing expense reports, analyzing financial data, performing accounting duties such as journal entries, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. The candidate will also assist with various other accounting tasks such as audits, reconciliations and maintain records.

This role reports to the Finance Lead.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Thorough review of submissions and analysis, accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll of more than one thousand employees in accordance with company policies and local regulatory standards
  • Accurate and timely filing and payment of statutory CPF to CPFB
  • Submission of employees' IR21 & NS Claims in a timely manner
  • Payroll/tax/government grant related journal entries and accruals
  • Annual employee stock / income tax filings
  • Internal and external audits for payroll related accounts
  • Manage government grants
  • Assist in implementation of improvements/enhancements, including working independently with all stakeholders, and achieve high levels of efficiency, accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of all employee related information
  • Ability to work independently and to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Assist with adjustments in Timesoft

Qualifications

  • Relevant Diploma/Degree qualification
  • At least 3 years of proven payroll experience in a large organisation
  • Experience in Timesoft Payroll Module is a plus
  • Excellent in Excel
  • A strong team player, meticulous, detail-oriented and organized
  • A multi-tasker with self-motivation and integrity
