Your Impact and Contribution
You will be part of the PE Team and provide support in the following areas:
· Conducting of PE Lessons
· Preparation of Lesson plan and Teaching Materials
· Planning and Coordinating School PE related events
Roles and Responsibility:
Conducting Assigned Lesson
- AM & PM PE lessons
- CCA sports/ daily exercises
- Supervise and guide Educators, Part-Time Teacher Aides /Volunteers / Interns assigned in aid of teaching activities
Preparation of Teaching Materials
- Plan and decide what PE materials and equipment needed for teaching
- Materials for lessons
- Take videos & photos for lesson plan, work systems, visuals support and transitions visuals for PE/Daily Exercises/ Gym/CCA
Lesson Planning Writing
- Termly themes and tasks analysis of activity
- Weekly lesson plan and flow of activity using a combination of methodology that is pupil-focused, fun and autism friendly
Assess and monitor student’s progress.
- Record and provide PE Progress / Grades for each term
Under the guidance of Supervisor / Senior Educator (PE) for Planning and Coordinating School PE/Sports/Daily Activities/CCA/External competitions
- Develop differentiated Eden School PE curriculum
- Develop differentiated Eden School Daily exercises programme.
- Yearly school Sport, Gym, PE and CCA programme
- Coordinate PE/Sports/Gym fitness related external service providers (eg CCA Gymnastic, Swimming, Inline Skating, Bowling)
- All internal PE/Sports/Fitness events and activities (eg. Sports Day, Sport Carnival, Bowling Day, Overnight Sports Camp)
- All external PE/Sports events and activities (eg. Special Olympics, Inter-School Sport competitions, National games for special needs.)
Requirements:
- Passion in Physical Education and to help special needs students maximise their potential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Recognized qualification from local Junior College / Polytechnic or University
- Work location: Eden School (Bukit Batok campus)
- Relevant work or volunteering experience in special school, tuition, sports coaching will be an advantage
- Salary listed is the starting salary for fresh Diploma graduate: $2600 and fresh Degree graduate: $3200
