Roles and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily site activities and progress, planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the detailed work programs.
- Coordinate with different departments concerning the site work activities.
- Work closely with sub-cons, and highlight any work-related matters for the team's discussion and solutions.
- Supervise works on-site for proper work execution and safety.
- Handle any engineering/technical issues.
- Prepare daily progress reporting and maintain records that are up to date.
- Familiar with and able to understand general contracts and various tender documents.
- Able to provide budget costs or estimates as per instruction.
- Liaise with suppliers for their products and services presentation.
- Able to look for solutions regarding any technical problems during the tender.
- Coordinate with the supplier/contractor regarding follow-up on bills and quantities.
- To evaluate and check on market unit rates monthly/Quarterly for material and labor costs.
- To attend site showground for those tenders that we are interested in.
- To reply to tender clarification, preparation for tender interview, and presentation.
- Able to communicate with BCA or other Departments in dealing with certificates and licensing.
- Able to do any other ad-hoc duties.
Requirement:
- Minimum a Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with min 3 years local experience.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision under a tight schedule.
- Possess initiative, willing to multi-task, and be able to work independently.
- Must have good communication skills, both written and spoken.
