Are you passionate about baking delicious pastries? Do you have a knack for creating mouth-watering recipes and products? If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a baker to join our team at NastyCookie (bakehouse)
You will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of croissants, cakes, pies, and other baked goods.
You will also ensure that the bakery is clean, hygienic, and well-stocked.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A diploma or certificate in baking, pastry, or culinary arts, or equivalent experience
- Preferably at least one year of experience as a baker in a commercial or retail setting - Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Creativity, attention to detail and speed
- Willingness to work 6 days a week in the wee hours of morning
Work location is in the East and work hours start from: 7am - 4.30pm
*Work schedule may be adjusted to start earlier and end earlier in the near future.
Transport fares will be covered for this.
