Core Responsibilities

Customer management


Partner customers pro-actively to work on joint business planning, promotion and assortment planning. Working on accounts daily with the following main tasks:

  • Preparing customer business plans with strategical thinking, Contribution to Trade (CTT) management and trading terms negotiation.
  • Partner with trade marketing team for promotion and in-store activities. Measuring promotion effectiveness through consumer sales tracking and analysis.
  • Prepare and participate in customer meetings, including a great deal of Excel and PowerPoint work.
  • Preparing monthly reports, customer scorecard, P&L, by theme and by store detail analysis.
  • Conducting regular store visits which include the preparation and analysis of planograms.

Demand Planning and Forecast Process

Responsible for driving the Launch and Promotions planning, sales forecast and space planning in stores. Conducting demand analysis and managing channel flow casting and exit strategy with customers.

Collaboration with Marketing

Actively involved in Key Account Manager (KAM) internal meetings and regional direction follow-ups. Act as a sparring partner for the India and Emerging Asia (IEA) marketing team to leverage regional and global campaigns in Vietnam.

The Vietnam market is a part of BU IEA and is a distributor market managed by a KAM in Singapore.

The business in Vietnam including operations, e-commerce, marketing, and finance is fully supported from our central office in Singapore.

This role is based in Singapore and will report directly to General Manager of BU India and Emerging Asia. You will be responsible for distribution, sales and merchandising of the LEGO brand for Vietnam.


Do you have what it takes?

  • Solid customer facing key account management experience, preferably within MNC’s in the packaged goods industry.
  • Strong salesperson with hands on experience of successful negotiations & delivering multi-year account improvements. Needs to express a genuine interest and motivation to build long-term win-win relationships with customers.
  • Commercial & Entrepreneurial acumen; able to analyze market and customer information turning them into insights. Able to identify business opportunities both with short- and long-term impact.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Operational knowledge of the Vietnam market
  • Ability to handle complexity. High level of resilience, adaptation and agility.
  • Regular travelling to Vietnam and possibly other distributor markets.
