Responsibilities:
- Supervise all aspects of warehouse operations, including local transportation to and from KWE warehouse(s) in Singapore.
- Establish and oversee fundamental practices, such as pre-inspection of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and daily walkabouts in the work environment, with support from section leads under the Senior Logistics Manager (SLM).
- Monitor Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) monthly reports and take the lead in addressing any negative findings.
- Respond to external or internal escalations regarding deviations or potential risks from established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide relevant guidance and direction to section leads on adjusting, correcting, or enhancing daily operations.
- Delegate tasks to respective section leads by establishing a schedule.
- Monitor the completion of project tasks by each section lead.
- Address escalations from section leads regarding potential delays or obstacles.
- Offer relevant advice and guidance to section leads for a clear understanding.
- Schedule internal sessions for alignment in case of potential issues, especially severe ones.
- Promptly escalate potential risks to the direct superior.
- Develop resource plans for operations manpower.
- Conduct recruitment interviews when additional manpower resources are required for the operations team.
- Conduct warning or termination sessions related to section leads.
- Analyze monthly department P/L, starting from sales revenue, direct cost, and indirect cost, up to gross profit, with the direct superior.
- Propose improvements to sales or cost for further discussion and finalization with the direct superior.
