General Overview
This role is responsible for internal and/or external coordination and communication for the following:
- preparation for day ahead gas nomination and allocation as instructed from time to time,
- carrying out scheduling duties by adhering to respective timelines as per the agreed SOP,
- monitoring of:
- hourly send-out nomination,
- scheduling of send-out, and
- clearing of Uniform Singapore Energy Price (USEP),
- execution of the assigned tasks by the reporting manager and according to the SOP.
- preparation of daily, monthly and yearly reports for internal and/or external stakeholders.
The candidate will also need to review all documents and information for accuracy and inform the reporting manager of any errors or inconsistencies. The candidate will be required to properly and timely handover to the next shift duty personnel. The role is a for 8 hours shift duty in a rotating work schedule.
Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:
Gas and Terminal Scheduling and Accurate Injection of Gas
- Gathering, collating, and preparing documents, materials, and information for entry
- Check accuracy of nomination from customers and perform verification checks for decision via Excel
- Monitor gas nominations are scheduled in accordance with the Terminal Use Agreement rules
- Monitor half-hourly USEP at an agreed timeframe in accordance with SOP
- Communicate timely with Production panel man at Main Control Room via phone (followed up by email) on the injection deviation to be taken for the imminent gas Balancing Period
- Ensure send-out scheduling and systems interface amongst SLNG, customer and gas transporter are done in a timely manner
- Ensure allocation of metered quantities to respective customer, end users and gas transporter are properly allocated in accordance to SLNG’s contractual rights for accurate billing
- Monitor and report for abnormalities
- Timely and proper hand-over and take-over of the nomination and scheduling activities as listed above
Operations of Gas Engine Generator
- Verify SLNG’s monthly electricity invoices and fuel accounting including accruals with Finance.
- Prepare GEG's efficiency report for EMA and reports for Market Surveillance and Compliance Panel.
- Update electricity market analysis on demand, supply and price vis-à-vis send-out
Truck Loading Scheduling
- Coordinate with customers and Production team on scheduling of truck loading slots and truck approval request
- Manage any issues pertaining to LNG quality, Certificate Of Quantity and Quality and truck loading operation
- Coordinate with customers and Operations team on truck loading bay maintenance schedule
Manage Relations with Internal and External Stakeholders
- Manage operational relations with external counterparties and internal teams
Work Experience
- Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with various functions within the company, as well as with external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Team-player
- Proficient with MS Office applications, good analytical skills and is meticulous in processes and procedures.
- A keen learner with the ability to grasp and apply concepts effectively in the area of Commercial Operations.
- Thorough understanding of macros and proficiency in VBA programming is added advantage.
Education Requirements
- at least Diploma in Science or Engineering from a reputable Polytechnic.
