JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Partner Business Manager, you will manage the strategy of the top channel partners in APAC and will be responsible for developing and executing a business plan, work aligned with different teams within the Google Maps and Cloud organization. You will be a trusted business partner of the partner organizations assigned to the focus partners. You’ll enable and leverage business partners, manage partner business issues and concerns, display knowledge in various business management and sales disciplines, and you will lead partners towards a sustainable business.
In this role, you will drive business growth and customer value by being partner focused in all activities, serving as an ambassador and advocate for partners within Google, and accurately representing Google within the partners’ organization. You will establish and maintain the business execution with Google’s partners and ensure that joint business growth and metrics are set.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive regional partnership strategy.
- Build a comprehensive partnership plan for premier named partners in the region.
- Establish and monitor specific partnership objectives, as well as ensure OKRs, KPIs, and business objectives are met.
- Build cross-functional leadership teams to manage intentional outcomes within regional, business units, ecosystem, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for executive-level relationships with ecosystem partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience managing business processes or channel sales, working with resellers/partners.
- Experience working with Google Maps Platform in a customer or partner-facing capacity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with solution selling to enterprises, within a software vendor, and selling across a wide set of industries
- Experience with channel and partner sales management.
- Ability to operate in an organization and work independently within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to deliver consistently against business goals.
- Ability to present information to customers, partners, and colleagues in a clear and compelling manner with credibility.
