Job Overview:
This role will provide essential support to the derivatives team at Interfood. As a Trading Analyst specializing in trading analytics, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics:
- Maintain and upgrade current spread libraries, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Implement automation to streamline the analytical process for increased efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize trading opportunities.
- Update dashboards on a daily basis, ensuring automation of data.
- Ingest fundamental data to support trading decisions.
- Tend to in-demand analysis to provide timely insights supporting commercial trading decisions.
Trading:
- Identify potential trading ideas through comprehensive analysis.
- Backtest trading strategies and present findings to the team.
- Develop automated trading strategies and daily monitoring of their performance.
- Automate internal market quoting processes to improve efficiency.
Day-to-Day Workflow:
- Maintain and upgrade the current trade booking process
- Liaise with brokers for trade booking and management
- Collaborate closely with mid-office teams to promptly address any trade discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters
- Proficiency in programming, with a preference for expertise in Python.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Previous experience in trading analytics or a related field
- Knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies
- Effective communication and presentation skills
