JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will need to
1. Plan, create, release and follow up on production orders
2. Carry out preventive maintenance of machines and perform quality control inspection
3. Liaise with machine manufacturers to perform troubleshooting of production equipment as and when needed
4. Review and recommend disposition of rejected in-coming raw material, work-in-process and finished goods
5. Investigate quality escapes and recommend preventive measures
6. Collect and analyse production data to improve production efficiency and processes
7. Perform any adhoc duties as assigned by superior
JOB REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this role, you will need to have
1. At least a minimum NITEC in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering certificate.
2. 1 to 2 years of working experience preferred
3. Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings
4. Good command of written and spoken English needed for communications with overseas vendors
5. Competency in the use of Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
6. A team player who is self motivated and demonstrates initiative
7. A highly analytical and meticulous problem solver
8. A hands-on learner and loves working with machinery
9. Comfortable with working with a diverse group of people
