- Gather all the information needed to complete accurate drawings.
- Update designs and check accuracy.
- Visit sites for research purposes and for ensuring construction workers follow the plans.
- Coordinate the work of drafting teams and technicians.
- Consult technical handbooks and tables.
- Prepare colored drawings and scale models to present to clients.
- Compile technical reports.
- Prepares and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, in AutoCAD Architecture and/or Revit, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Accurately model components from cut sheet to Revit families with information
- Communicating with all levels from product teams, engineers, and to customer service
- Documenting to insure drawing quality control and accuracy
- Order all field sets for construction
